Frequently Asked Questions

Cancellations

What is the registration cancellation policy?

ACPM must receive written notice of cancellation no later than May 13, 2022, to info@ACPM.org. Requests for full cancellations will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee per registrant. Cancellations or no-shows after this date are not eligible for a refund. Special requests for refund may be granted after the 30-day cut-off for personal emergencies. This policy covers registration and ticketed events. Cancellation requests should include attendee name and registration confirmation number.

Please allow up to four weeks for delivery of refund. In most cases, fees will be refunded the same way they were paid to ACPM. No refunds will be processed on site.

ACPM is not responsible for monies registrants may have spent on penalty or non-refundable airline tickets or hotel deposits in the event the conference is cancelled or sold out. If a program is cancelled by ACPM, every effort will be made to notify registrants at least 30 days prior to the first day of the course and registration fees will be refunded.

COVID-19 Protocols

What is the conference vaccination and mask policy?

In order to provide the safest conference environment possible, ACPM is monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation closely and following all recommended precautions provided by the CDC. Attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination for entry into the event. Attendees will also be required to wear a face mask in public spaces at all times throughout the conference.

To expedite the check-in process, please consider uploading your vaccination card to the CLEAR Digital vaccine card, a free feature in the CLEAR mobile app. Health Pass connects your verified identity with health insights to provide a safer, easier way back to the places and people you love. The digital vaccine card you create will sync with Health Pass for easier access to venues accepting COVID-19 vaccinations for entry. Once you have logged onto the Clear App scroll down to the "BLUE" box and upload your vaccine card to the Digital vaccine card tile.

  1. Download the free CLEAR app, tap the blue Health Pass tile, and follow the prompts.
  2. You will be able to show this screen upon badge pickup.
  3. Please note that you are also able to show proof of vaccination with your physical card as well.

Registration and Badges

What do I need to bring with me to check in and get my badge?

You will need to be prepared to show a photo ID and your registration confirmation. You will also need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, which can uploaded prior to the conference using the CLEAR app.

How do I update my registration?

You can update your registration within your Registration Portal, or by contacting ACPMAnnual@support.eventpower.com.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)

How many CME are offered?

The conference will offer 26.5 CME.

How do I claim CME?

CME will be available to claim on June 18, 2022. The last day to claim CME is September. Here are the CME Access Instructions on how to claim CME once they are available.

Will any of the sessions be recorded?

ACPM will be recording the six plenary sessions. Individuals who register for the full conference will be given complimentary access to the recordings. Individuals who did not register for the full conference will be provided a link to purchase the recordings on the ACPM Learning Management System.

Meals

Are meals included with my registration?

If you register for the full conference, you will receive refreshments at the Thursday Opening Reception and the Saturday Awards Breakfast. If you register for a single day, you will only receive refreshments offered on that particular day. Refreshment breaks will be provided on all days of the meeting.

If I have a dietary/religious preferences, can I make special meal requests?

You can make special requests during the registration process. If you need to make a further change, contact ACPMAnnual@support.eventpower.com.

General Logistics

Is WiFi available in the meeting space?

Yes, WiFi will be available in the meeting space.

What is the expected dress code?

Business casual.

Poster Sessions

What size should my poster be?

Poster displays will be limited to one side of 8 feet wide by 4 feet high tack board. The recommended poster size is 6.5 feet wide by 3 feet tall in landscape format (78 inches by 36 inches).

Is there a template I should use when designing my poster?

ACPM has created optional poster templates you can use when designing your poster. These are also accessible in the speaker portal.

Can I ship my poster directly to the conference site?

You can ship your poster directly to the Grand Hyatt Denver at 1750 Welton Street, Denver, Colorado 80202, for an incoming handling fee of $20.00 per package. Packages should not arrive more than three days prior to the date required. Shipments arriving more than three days prior may be subject to an additional storage fee of $10.00 a day per item. All shipped items should be in the poster presenter’s name. Please do not include the name of the conference on the shipping label. All poster presenters are responsible for shipping and storage costs.

What if I forget my poster?

An off-site FedEx Office Print & Ship Center is available at 555 17th Street, Denver, Colorado, 80202.

Where is the poster room located?

The poster room is located on the second floor of the Grand Hyatt, Denver in the Aspen Ballroom.

When do I set up my poster?

Those arriving on Tuesday, June 14, can set up their poster from 5 to 7 p.m. You may also set up your poster on Wednesday, June 15, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. All posters must be set up by Wednesday, June 15, at 1 p.m.

When do I need to tear-down my poster?

Poster tear-down will occur on Friday, June 17, from 3 to 3:30 p.m.

When is the poster judging session for the Scientific Excellence Award?

The poster judging session for the Scientific Excellence Award will occur on Thursday, June 16, from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The top 10 poster semifinalists have been selected prior to the session.

When will the winners of the Scientific Excellence Award be announced?

The winners of the Scientific Excellence Award will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday, June 18, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Colorado Aspen Ballroom.
